Who it is for

  • Owners & tenants

Worn floors, scratches, water stains or grey traffic paths – before moving in, selling, or simply because the floor looks tired.

  • Period buildings

Historic parquet, herringbone and panel floors in period apartments – preserved rather than replaced.

  • Property managers & landlords

    Refurbishment between two tenancies.

  • Commercial

Floors in offices, practices, shops and hotels.

What determines the restoration

  • Wear layer

How often a parquet floor can be sanded depends on the remaining wear layer – we check that first.

  • Damage

Deep scratches, water damage or loose staves determine how much needs repairing.

  • Area & access

The size of the floor and whether rooms are empty affect process and duration.

  • Surface

Which treatment suits after sanding is discussed with you on site.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need for a quote?

The area in m², photos of the floor (overview and close-ups of damage) and the location.

Can every parquet floor be sanded?

That depends on the remaining wear layer. We check the floor on site.

Do you also restore marquetry and period parquet?

Yes, talk to us – we look at the floor and discuss the scope.

How much does parquet sanding cost?

The price depends on area, condition, repairs and surface treatment. Based on photos or a site visit you receive a quote.

How long does sanding take?

That depends on area and condition. The schedule is agreed with you in the quote.

Do the rooms have to be empty?

The floors must be clear for sanding. We discuss how to organise that in advance.

Can parquet be sanded several times?

That depends on the remaining wear layer. We check the floor before the quote.

Is restoration worth it, or is a new floor better?

As long as enough wear layer remains and the subfloor holds, a parquet floor can usually be kept. We tell you what makes sense in your case after the visit.

What should the photos show?

An overview of each room, close-ups of scratches, stains, gaps or loose staves and – if possible – an edge where the thickness of the parquet is visible.

Do you also restore single rooms?

Yes. One room, an apartment or a whole floor – send us the area and we will get back to you.
